Hard API-Level Age Gate

During account registration, all users must submit a verified Date of Birth (DOB). Our complete-signup API endpoint (enforced server-side, not client-side) calculates the user's exact age and returns an HTTP 403 Forbidden response to any user under 18, blocking account creation entirely. This gate cannot be bypassed through client manipulation.

Terms Acceptance Timestamp

A cryptographic UTC timestamp of Terms & Child Safety Standards acceptance is written to our database at sign-up and is immutable — it cannot be edited or deleted by the user.

No Minor Accounts Permitted

Global Upper Prayer Rooms GUPR does not knowingly create accounts for, collect data from, or provide services to any person under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has circumvented our age gate, the account is immediately suspended pending investigation.

In-App Report & Block

Every user profile within the app includes a visible Report / Block User control. Users can report any account for safeguarding concerns, abusive behaviour, or CSAE-related violations. All reports are routed to our moderation team for immediate review.

Prayer Wall Moderation

All Prayer Wall user-generated content submissions are subject to moderation review. Content flagged for policy violations — including any CSAE-adjacent material — is immediately removed and the submitting account is suspended pending investigation.

Room Ejection Protocol

Room hosts possess the authority to remove any participant from a live prayer room at any time, without requiring a reason. Ejected participants cannot re-enter the same room session.

Immediate Account Suspension

Upon credible identification of CSAM or CSAE activity, the associated account is immediately suspended and all session access is revoked pending full investigation.

NCMEC CyberTipline Reporting

GUPR Ltd reports all known or suspected CSAM incidents to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at www.missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline and to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) as required by UK law.

Law Enforcement Cooperation

GUPR Ltd cooperates fully and proactively with UK law enforcement (National Crime Agency), international authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies in any CSAE investigation. We preserve all relevant data for lawful disclosure upon receipt of a valid legal request.

Data Preservation

In cases of suspected CSAE, relevant account data, session metadata, and communications are preserved in a secure, access-controlled environment for a minimum of 90 days to support law enforcement investigations.
